These are going to be two absolutely epic gigs and we look forward to seeing you all there!
On the recording front, we are going back into the studio over the next week to lay down the final parts of the Legion album, including vocals, orchestral parts and acoustic guitars. The album is already sounding heavy beyond belief and we are all very excited about it.
Last nights gig at the Soundhouse was a blast once again. It was lovely to see so many of you there. A big shout out to Emberlight Fantastic (inferno) for opening the gig, and to our good friends the Aftermath for supporting.
Off up north now for tonights gig. From all at Dethonator have a very epicly metal time, and thankyou for your continued support!

Halford Conga Shocks Leicester
22/11/10
A big shout out to all who came to Saturday's gig at the Soundhouse in Leicester. It was a great evening, and Dethonator pulled the majority of the crowd, so you guys have a lot to be proud of! The Halford Conga in Redeemer after the gig was a definate highlight to an already great evening. Thankyou all so very much for travelling the distance to come and support us!
In other news, the re-recording of our 2008 album Legion is well underway, with the drums tracks completed, and bass recordings beginning next weekend.
Also watch this space for some new items of merchandise - thankyou all who took part in the poll to help us get hold of what you guys would like to see!
Hope to see all you crazy metalheads at a gig in the not too distant future.

Another Dethonator album now available
18/10/10
Many of you have asked us to upload some of our pre "Dethonator" (2010) material - so we have made our 2005 album "The Great British Invention" available for purchase as a digital download! This early Dethonator release is full of thrashing yet melodic Metal and even though it is a little rough around the edges production wise, this 13 track album certainly laid the blueprints for future Dethonator releases.
We hope that you enjoy!

Back from the Exile festival, Herne, Germany
13/09/2010
This weekend we played to the fantastic people of Herne at the Exile
Festival in Germany. It was a long 1000-mile round trip but seriously worth
the journey, we had an amazing weekend!
We were greeted with the hospitality we've come to expect from our
European neighbours and were welcomed backstage with a great spread and the
longest fussball table we've ever seen! A quick warm up was had with a
friendly
England-Germany match against Fairytale who followed us on the lineup. No
good news on that score I'm afraid, we were whipped 5-1!
But that didn't stop us on stage. The crowd was awesome, they headbanged
like they were possessed - there was loads of energy and crowd action,
which
made a stonking gig.
Most importantly we met some great people. Special mentions go to
Christian and Fouad, who organised the festival along with a hard working
team of people who made us feel really welcome.
Back from Tour/New Website
16/08/2010
DETHONATOR are back from a wonderful European tour. All the band and crew would like to thank all the organisers and everyone who came to see us for making it such a wonderful experience! We look forward greatly to returning to Europe in the near future.
Today the website has had a bit of an overhaul to make it a bit more user friendly and presentable. We hope you like the new layout! Check out the new Twitter Feed and comment board!
Many of you may have noticed things have been quiet over the last few months, but we have been working very hard behind the scenes, in discussions with many different people in preparation for the full release of our latest album - watch this space - it will be on sale soon!
